Dedicated Home Theaters and Private Cinemas
A dedicated theater is the one room in the house where everything has to be right: the picture, the sound, the seating, the dark, and the way it all turns on with one touch. Integration Techs has designed and built private theaters and media rooms since 1999. Our legal name is The Home Theater Experience, Inc.
What we design and build
- The room itself. Screen size, seating rows, and sightlines planned with your architect, plus speaker locations, equipment space, and ventilation.
- Reference sound. JBL Synthesis and K-array systems, with multiple subwoofers and room correction tuned in the finished room.
- The picture. Projection or large-format displays, including Samsung's 115-inch Micro RGB, sized to the room and the seats.
- The library. Kaleidescape for reference-quality films, alongside streaming.
- One-touch control. Lights dim, shades close, and the film starts from a Crestron Home keypad, touch screen, or Josh.ai voice command.
Media rooms and theater upgrades
Not every home needs a purpose-built cinema. We also turn family rooms and lounges into media rooms that look like living spaces until the lights go down. And many theaters built ten or more years ago still have good bones but dated projectors, processors, and control. We upgrade them and keep what still performs.
How we work
- Private consultation. We meet at the property, or review plans with your architect or builder.
- Written design. Drawings, equipment, and a room-by-room scope you can review before anything is ordered.
- Installation. By our own team, scheduled around your time in residence.
- Commissioning. Every system is configured, tested, and tuned in-house.
- Ongoing care. Remote support and service from the team that built it.
Frequently asked questions
When should we involve you in a new build?
At design development, before framing. Room dimensions, riser height, wall depth for speakers, and equipment ventilation are far easier to get right on paper.
Can you upgrade a theater someone else built?
Yes. We assess what's there, keep what still performs, and replace what's holding the room back.
Projector or large display?
It depends on the room, the screen size you want, and how much light you can control. We'll show you both and recommend one during design.
Can the theater work for everyday TV too?
Yes. We set up simple everyday modes alongside the full cinema experience.
