Crestron Home Upgrades in the Coachella Valley and San Diego

If your Crestron system was installed ten or more years ago, it was probably custom-programmed on hardware Crestron no longer supports. Touch panels go dark, the app stops connecting, and the original programmer is long gone. Integration Techs upgrades these systems to Crestron Home, Crestron's current platform for residences, and in most homes we reuse the existing wiring and many of the devices already in the walls.

We are an Authorized Crestron Dealer and have designed, installed, and serviced Crestron systems in Coachella Valley and San Diego homes since 1999. Design, programming, and testing are done in-house.

Signs your Crestron system is due for an upgrade

  • Touch panels that freeze, reboot, or show dated screens
  • The Crestron app on your phone no longer connects or was never set up
  • Nobody can make changes because the original program file is missing
  • Lighting, shades, or audio that only partly work
  • A processor or panel that Crestron has discontinued

What a Crestron Home upgrade includes

  • New processor running Crestron Home
  • Current touch screens and keypads where needed, matched to your finishes
  • Phone, tablet, and voice control of lighting, shades, climate, audio, video, and security
  • Reuse of existing wiring and compatible devices wherever they test sound
  • Scenes rebuilt around how you live now: arrival, entertaining, away, and night
  • A network that can carry it: we check the network first and upgrade it to Ubiquiti UniFi if needed

How it works

  1. Technology Audit: we walk the house, test what's installed, and document what can stay.
  2. Written scope and proposal: a clear, room-by-room plan.
  3. Install and program: scheduled around your time in residence, including while you're away for the season.
  4. Walkthrough and support: we show you the new system and stay on call.

Frequently asked questions

Can you upgrade a Crestron system someone else installed?

Yes. We upgrade systems regardless of who installed them, including installers that are no longer in business. We start by documenting what's in the house.

Do I have to replace everything?

Usually not. Wiring, many lighting and shade devices, speakers, and displays can often stay. The audit tells you exactly what stays and what changes.

Can the work happen while I'm away for the summer?

Yes. Upgrades can be scheduled while the home is empty, and we keep you updated remotely.

What areas do you serve?
