RTI, AMX, and URC System Replacement

Many desert homes still rely on RTI, AMX, or URC remotes and processors installed years ago. The programming is often custom, undocumented, and impossible to change without the original dealer. Integration Techs replaces them with Crestron Home and simple, reliable control.

What replaces it

Crestron Home handles video, audio, lighting, shades, and climate from handheld remotes, wall touch panels, and an app on your phone. Josh.ai voice can be added. Displays, speakers, and wiring are reused wherever they still perform.

How a takeover works

On-site assessment: we document every processor, keypad, remote, network device, and wire run, and what the house can and cannot do today
Written plan: what to keep, what to replace, the order of work, and an approved scope before anything is removed
Phased replacement: rooms move over in a sequence that keeps the house usable, scheduled around your arrival in the desert
Commissioning: scenes, schedules, and remotes tested room by room, then a walkthrough with you or your house manager
Ongoing care: documentation, remote support, and a pre-Season check each fall

Can you reprogram our existing RTI or URC system?

When the system is current and the files are available, sometimes. When processors are discontinued or files are missing, replacement is usually the better investment.

Will guests and staff find the new system easy?

Yes. We design simple remotes and touch panels around how each room is used, and walk your household or house manager through them.

Can you start with just the media room?

Yes. Many clients start with the main living area or theater and add rooms over time.
